Greg Rawson provided a presentation on setting up OpenSSH.  His demonstration was based on a Slackware distribution, which does not come with an SSH deamon already installed.  He described a straightforward process using the standard configure, make, make install sequence.  Only one small gcc glitch required a patch to resolve. 

Donna provided a brief update concerning the activities at the Hawthorn Center.  In the remaining portion of the meeting, the group considered a hardware problem that Martin Huh had requested help with.   Unfortunately, he had not brought his Red-Hat system disks, and we were unable to get his system to boot up during the meeting.
