Members  attending the meeting included:   Richard Foerster,  Karl Pomeroy, Mark DiNicolai, and Dick Mathews. Prospective new members, Dana Rodden had planned to attend but was  unable to make the meeting.  Hopefully he will be able attend our January meeting.

Linux-Mandrake had scheduled an Linux-Fest at the convention center in Pasadena for this same day.  As a result, many members, including Alan who was working at the event, had to miss this meeting.   We had a smaller than usual attendance, but still had an interesting meeting.

Mark brought in a system, and we started installation of Mandrake 7.1 on it.  While it was not finished by the time members had to go, it provided an opportunity for Karl and Dick to see the installation process.

The meeting was a great success, and we are all looking forward to our next session on Jan  13th, 2000
